Grand Cru

My wife spotted this one. The bottle reminds me of a small bottle of champagne. St-Feuillien Grand Cru.

We were a little hesitant to buy it because it has an extra label on it stating "EXTRA STRONG BEER". What exactly is extra strong? Is it the taste or alcohol content? This was is a whopping 9.5%.

It also said "Product of Belgium". Seeing as how I like Belgian beers, I was sold.

Colour: Amber with a white frothy head.

Aroma: Sweet, malty... caramel... maybe orange.

Taste: Hints of caramel... spice... citrus... umm... yum. :)

ABV: 9.5%

I really enjoyed this beer. I think it might be similar to La Fin du Monde. It's unfortunate that the alcohol is so high because I could drink a few of these very easily.
